New rural areas - a program of the entire political system

New rural areas are considered a common task by the Party Committee, unions, and authorities at all levels of Lam Dong province, and they are determined to carry it out.

The lives of people in Nam Da commune are increasingly improving thanks to the strong application of new varieties and techniques in agricultural production.

In Nam Da commune, in recent years, the New Rural Development program has always been considered a top priority task of the entire political system. Currently, the commune has achieved 19/19 new rural criteria and is carefully reviewing the criteria as a basis for further development.

According to Mr. Ngo Xuan Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Da commune, one of the important steps in building new rural areas is the strong and synchronous participation of the grassroots political system. First of all, the commune political system has grasped the resolutions, policies and laws of the Party and State, the concretization of documents of the Party Committee and the provincial and district authorities (previously). From there, the commune has applied creatively, scientifically, in accordance with the characteristics of each locality; aiming to create a common consensus on awareness and action in the overall and sustainable development of socio -economy, politics, national security and defense in rural areas.

Mr. Dong gave an example, to achieve the criteria of poverty reduction and per capita income, every year, the commune includes in the resolution of the Party Committee, the government, and organizations are assigned specific tasks with separate plans, with regular monitoring and reporting to urge, inspect, and link with emulation and rewards. In particular, the grassroots party committee has the task of thoroughly grasping and making the content of new rural construction a political task, regularly discussed in periodic activities. Each grassroots party organization in the commune, based on the functions and tasks of the unit, determines its role in coordinating, supporting, or directly leading the masses to carry out the task of building new rural areas. Thanks to the synchronous participation, the commune has taken advantage of many capital sources from programs, projects, and the initiative of the people to reduce poverty and increase per capita income.

In Krong No commune, in recent years, the participation of organizations in the political system has contributed positively to the construction of new rural areas. According to Mr. Tran Duc Cuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the Front and socio-political organizations have integrated the task of building new rural areas into their regular activities; thoroughly instilled in cadres, party members, union members, association members and workers the spirit and sense of responsibility to participate in building new rural areas; closely coordinated with sectors and levels, creating a combined strength in implementation. Especially, mobilizing members and people to well implement patriotic emulation movements, the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas". Accordingly, people actively participated in contributing ideas, capital, donating land to build infrastructure, contributing to the effective construction of new rural areas.

According to the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, the province's new rural areas have achieved many positive results. Based on the review of Official Dispatch No. 6394/BNNMT- VPĐPNTM, dated September 5, 2025, which is considered the latest document of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in addition to wards and special zones, Lam Dong has 103 communes, including 8 group 1 communes, 71 group 2 communes and 24 group 3 communes.

Rural infrastructure is constantly being improved and synchronized, people's lives are being improved and raised. That is the result of the whole political system participating and being determined to have great, comprehensive resonance strength, difficulties are being resolved; positive aspects, good people, good deeds from the grassroots and residential communities are being strongly replicated. Lam Dong province continues to consider the participation of the political system as both a task and a solution to build a truly and sustainably new countryside, especially in the new period of 2026 - 2035 with higher requirements and goals.
