Research and propose to supplement the public transport system connecting Ho Chi Minh City (new) and Dong Nai (new)

In the announcement of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the conclusion of the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the leaders of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee at the working session on traffic connection between the two localities, the leaders of the two localities agreed to assign the Dong Nai Department of Construction to coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction (Department of Transport and Public Works) to study public transport connecting Ho Chi Minh City (new) and Dong Nai (new).

Specifically, the two units will research, review and propose to add bus routes connecting the two localities, inland waterway passenger transport routes connecting Dong Nai province (new) and Ho Chi Minh City (new) according to their functions and tasks after the two localities complete the province merger, ensuring appropriate and effective connections. At the same time, coordinate to organize and call for investors to participate in exploiting bus routes, inland waterway passenger transport routes connecting the two localities in a modern, environmentally friendly direction, ensuring the green transformation roadmap according to Decision No. 876/QD-TTg dated July 22, 2022 of the Prime Minister, promptly advise and propose to the People's Committees of the two localities according to regulations.
