On September 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward (HCMC) organized the "Phu Nhuan - Compassionate Flowers" Festival in 2025.

The program aims to welcome the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations of Phu Nhuan ward, term 2025-2030 and to take care of families in difficult circumstances.

Party Secretary, Chairman of Phu Nhuan Ward People's Council Nguyen Dong Tung and Chairman of Phu Nhuan Ward Fatherland Front Committee Dinh Gia Huynh presented gifts to disadvantaged households.

At the festival, a series of meaningful activities and programs took place, such as: organizing medical examinations, giving free medicine, providing health care for local people; giving gifts, means of livelihood, health insurance to near-poor households, lonely elderly people, orphans due to the Covid-19 epidemic, children of workers, and laborers with serious illnesses.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward also donated funds to repair comrades' houses, gave bicycles as means of transportation to students in difficult circumstances; organized "Solidarity - Affectionate Meal"; "Loving Ao Dai" booth, Kim Sang rice booth... to take care of people in special circumstances.

According to Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward Dinh Gia Huynh, the projects that were started, the gifts that were given, the booths that were opened... all show the concern of the Party, the government and the unions, organizations and units for the people's lives.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of Phu Nhuan Ward Party Committee Tran Thi Mai Ly added that the festival is a vivid highlight, demonstrating the motto of "taking people as the root" and the characteristics of "loyalty and humanity" of the people of Phu Nhuan Ward - a locality rich in tradition of solidarity, cohesion, always sharing and moving forward together.

On this occasion, Phu Nhuan ward introduced the project of digitizing historical relics via QR codes with the theme "A glimpse of Phu Nhuan - Imprints and the future".

At the festival, responding to the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" and building the project "City of many colors of flowers" launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and socio-political organizations of Phu Nhuan ward launched the registration of skillful mass mobilization projects and responded to the movement to build the project "City of many colors of flowers".

Chairwoman of Phu Nhuan Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thi Nhu Y called on each organization, individual, residential area, and group to register at least one specific, practical, and influential project or task.
