Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Thoi, Head of Loc Thien Commune Police, said that, implementing the direction of the Provincial Police on the implementation of the task of organizing the collection of public opinions on the draft amendments and supplements to the 2013 Constitution through the VneID application, Loc Thien Commune Police proactively deployed it to officers and soldiers to seriously implement; At the same time, coordinating with the Fatherland Front and mass organizations in the commune to organize propaganda and guide civil servants, members and people to use the VNeID application to contribute opinions on the draft amendments and supplements to the Constitution. The commune police distributed instructional leaflets, shared video clips, and illustrated images on how to operate the VNeID application so that people, especially the elderly and people in remote areas, can easily access and use it.

Contributing opinions to the draft amendments and supplements to the Constitution is not only a constitutional right of citizens in the Vietnamese Constitution but also a citizen’s obligation for the future of the nation and people. Each contribution, whether from scientists, officials, civil servants, workers or students, will contribute to perfecting the Constitution, the highest legal document of the country. The active participation of the people will help the Constitution to be closer to reality, in line with the requirements of sustainable development and international integration, thereby improving the feasibility and effectiveness of law enforcement.

Captain Hoang Minh Bao Trung, Deputy Head of Loc Thien Commune Police, shared: “Within just one week, the entire commune had more than 400 people participating in giving their opinions on the draft amendments and supplements to the Constitution on the VNeID application. Everyone expressed their high agreement with using the VNeID application to give their opinions on the draft amendments and supplements to the Constitution. Some people who do not have smartphones or have not activated their level 2 identification accounts were instructed to do so at the direct support point at the commune police headquarters.”
In Loc Thanh commune, officers and soldiers of the commune police actively researched and contributed ideas through the VNeID application. At the same time, the unit also coordinated with departments, branches, unions, and socio-political organizations in the commune to propagate and guide people to use the VNeID application to directly contribute ideas to the Draft to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

Officials, civil servants, departments, branches, organizations, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level and a large number of people of Loc Thanh commune actively responded and contributed opinions on the Draft amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution through the VNeID application.
Deploying the collection of opinions via the VNeID application not only contributes to shortening the time for synthesizing and processing information, but also helps authorities promptly grasp public opinion, improve the effectiveness of management, direction and implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws in a more realistic and effective manner.
