The Miss International 2024 finals have just taken place in Japan with the competition of more than 70 contestants. Vietnam's representative - Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy won the highest position. The titles of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th runner-up respectively belonged to Bolivia, Spain, Venezuela and Indonesia.
During the behavioral round, Thanh Thuy received a question about the impact of global development on theeducation system of the younger generation.
She answered fluently in English: "I think it is the urgency of the global education system during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have to stay at home, study online. This is a change in the development trend of online education companies. And I hope students can explore learning opportunities through online education platforms. That supports sustainable development goal number 4: Quality education."
The moment Vietnam representative was called into the top 8.
In the opening performance, when the contestants appeared in their national costumes, Miss Thanh Thuy performed in a traditional costume called Lotus Silk. After that, she and the top 8 contestants returned to the stage to perform in swimsuits and evening gowns.
The Vietnamese beauty wore a red swimsuit, showing off her long legs and radiant beauty. In the next round, she chose a design inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms by Le Thanh Hoa. The evening gown was made from high-quality mikado material and had a delicate shape.

Throughout the competition, the Vietnamese representative was always considered one of the most outstanding beauties. Some beauty sites predicted that she would be crowned.
Since joining the contest, the Vietnamese representative has always been supported by the audience. In the sideline activities of the contest, Miss Thanh Thuy always demonstrated good communication skills, confidence and friendliness. She also scored points with the audience thanks to her beautiful appearance, gentle behavior and diverse dressing style.

In the semi-finals, the Vietnamese representative received many compliments after her performance. Her introduction in English showed careful preparation: "It is an honor for me to be standing here, feeling proud when you say hello. Currently, I am studying English and Korean. In the near future, I plan to learn Japanese because I really love Japanese culture.
When I had the opportunity to come to Japan, create memorable memories with friends and people here, I was touched by their hospitality. The moment I saw a Japanese woman holding the Vietnamese flag in her hand, I was truly touched and grateful."
Thanh Thuy is also an impressive contestant for the semi-final round.

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was born in 2002 in Da Nang . The beauty is 1m76 tall. Before being crowned Miss Vietnam 2022, she won the Miss Student Award at the University of Foreign Languages (Da Nang University in 2021), 1st Runner-up of the Da Nang Elegant Student Contest in 2021, and was one of 36 students participating in the student exchange program at Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand.
Thanh Thuy is currently studying at two universities: University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang) and Greenwich University Vietnam. She has basic communication skills in English and Korean.
During her two years in office, Thanh Thuy actively participated in artistic and community activities, participating in many projects to help people in difficult circumstances.
