After returning with a successful performance at Milan Fashion Week, model Huynh Tu Anh continued her international journey by participating in the Chanel Cruise 2026 show in Singapore - an event marking Chanel's return to Southeast Asia after more than a decade. The last time the brand held a Cruise show in the region was in 2013 at Dempsey Hill (Singapore).
Notably, no Vietnamese model has ever walked in the brand’s official show. Although Vietnamese-origin faces like Navia Nguyen and Jade Nguyen have appeared on the catwalk before, they are all foreign nationals.
“Being able to perform in the Chanel show was a dream that I only dared to think about. When I lived in that moment, I realized the value of perseverance and believing in the path I chose. I hope that my story will inspire Vietnamese models to boldly step out into the world . If we have enough passion and perseverance, we can absolutely do it ,” Huynh Tu Anh said emotionally.
To get the opportunity to perform for Chanel, Tu Anh said she had to go through many rigorous casting rounds and revealed that although she failed in her first attempt, she did not give up. After resubmitting her profile and performance video for the new selection round, she received an invitation letter and a flight ticket to Singapore just a few days later.

Before this show, Huynh Tu Anh had to maintain a strict exercise and diet regimen, eating only eggs, chicken breast, green vegetables, and oats. She completely eliminated starch and sugar, and combined it with four gym sessions a week to maintain her catwalk-ready figure.
Just 2 years after being crowned The Face Vietnam 2023 , Huynh Tu Anh quickly expanded her modeling activities to the international market. She currently belongs to two management companies in Paris and Milan.
Along with her success on the runway, Tu Anh is also the first Vietnamese model to appear in prestigious international fashion publications such as Vogue Singapore (October 2024) and Grazia International (June 2025). These appearances are important milestones, contributing to affirming the position of a young Vietnamese model who is gradually reaching out to the world.
Most recently at Milan Fashion Week Spring – Summer 2026 , Tu Anh was also the only Vietnamese model to shoot lookbooks for international brands such as Diesel and Blauer. And she performed for five brands including Peserico, Sara Wong, Calcaterra, Barbara and Circle Show.

With a height of 1m78, a typical Asian face and a style that is professionally evaluated by international fashion houses, Tu Anh quickly attracted the attention of experts.
Tu Anh is proof that Vietnamese models can absolutely walk alongside the world's top names. Each step they take on the international stage not only demonstrates their talent and personal qualities, but also carries the cultural imprint, responsibility and pride of a growing Vietnamese fashion industry./.
