The information was shared by the organizers of Vietnam Day in Saudi Arabia 2024 on the evening of December 14.
Culinary expert Nguyen Thuong Quan, chairman of the Vietnam Chefs Vocational Training and Employment Association (VICA), the chef in charge of preparing Vietnamese dishes at the event, said he had carefully researched the culture and culinary characteristics of the local people to be able to prepare dishes that are both uniquely Vietnamese and familiar to the public.
The organizers of Vietnam Day in Saudi Arabia 2024 said pho and fried seafood spring rolls, grilled shrimp and chicken spring rolls... are very popular with Saudi people and international visitors.
Nearly 300 servings of pho, more than 500 spring rolls and fried spring rolls were fully enjoyed by the locals just 2 hours after the event opened on the evening of December 13.
In addition to enjoying delicious Vietnamese cuisine, Saudi Arabian people and international visitors can also experience many new and attractive traditional Vietnamese cultural and artistic forms.
They can make colorful clay figurines, try their hand at traditional Dong Ho painting, or create sparkling lacquer paintings under the guidance of Vietnamese artisans.

The art stage with performances of Vietnamese traditional musical instruments, which are quite unfamiliar to Middle Easterners such as flute, erhu, pipa and monochord, also attracted a large audience.
Saudi Arabian people and international visitors can also learn about the beautiful country of Vietnam, rich in cultural identity, through the photo exhibition "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Culture and World Heritage Sites in Vietnam recognized by UNESCO ".
