The Green Vietnam Program was initiated by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Department of Climate Change - Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam), in coordination with accompanying units and businesses.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Bien, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Department of Cocoon Vietnam, consumers are becoming more demanding when it comes to shopping. In addition to demanding quality products at good prices, consumers also want to hear the stories behind them.
The most preferred products must be those with a "green", "clean" and "beautiful" backstory. Obviously, if the products are not green or clean, they will directly affect the health and life of consumers very quickly. Therefore, sustainable consumption may no longer be a trend favored by the majority of consumers in modern society, but may gradually become a necessary standard.
Speaking more about Cocoon Vietnam, Ms. Ngoc Bien said that the company chooses a sustainable path from raw materials, from trusting and exploiting nutrients from Vietnamese agricultural products to put into each cosmetic line. In this way, Cocoon can both ensure the quality of input materials and contribute to maintaining stable output for Vietnamese agricultural products (coffee, grapefruit, squash...).

Ms. Ngoc Bien affirmed that Cocoon has been, is and will be promoting green lifestyle, accompanying consumers in forming green living habits through very practical activities.
From 2021 to now, Cocoon has regularly maintained a used bottle exchange program (to limit plastic waste in the environment), resulting in the recycling of more than 11 tons of plastic bottles or the old battery collection program (from 2022) has helped to solve more than 20 tons of old batteries.
"By organizing some of the above activities, we have further strengthened the trust of customers in the Cocoon brand. It is also a sustainable and long-term journey in the goal of building the Cocoon brand that the business is aiming for," Ms. Ngoc Bien added.
