Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) has just summarized market information for October.
It is noted that at the end of the trading session on October 31, the VN-Index reached 1,639.65 points. The industry indexes on HoSE recorded 6 industry indexes increasing compared to September, in which the typical ones are the information technology industry index (VNIT), non-essential consumer goods industry (VNCOND) and industry industry (VNIND) with increases of 10.89%, 7.22% and 3.46% respectively.
The average trading volume in the month reached more than 1 billion shares/day with an average trading value of more than VND 33,549 billion/day; a decrease of 8.52% in volume and 1.35% in value compared to September 2025.
Regarding foreign investors' transactions, the total transaction value of foreign investors in October reached over VND189,242 billion, accounting for 12.26% of the total transaction value of the entire market. Foreign investors made net sales during the month with a value of over VND22,191 billion.

As of October 31, HoSE had 669 listed and traded securities, including 394 stock codes, 4 closed-end fund certificates, 18 ETF fund certificates and 253 covered warrant codes with a total listed securities volume of nearly 195.24 billion securities.
The stock capitalization value on HoSE reached more than VND 7.25 million billion, up 0.7% compared to the previous month and equivalent to 63.02% of GDP in 2024, accounting for more than 94.18% of the total capitalization value of listed stocks in the whole market.
Currently, HoSE has 50 enterprises with capitalization of more than 1 billion USD, of which 3 enterprises have capitalization of over 10 billion USD: Vingroup Corporation (VIC), Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (VCB), Vinhomes Joint Stock Company (VHM).
