Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House received the Third Class Labor Medal

On April 15, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Hanoi People's Newspaper Printing Company solemnly held the 70th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Newspaper Printing House and received the Third Class Labor Medal (for the second time) awarded by the Party and State.

Reviewing the glorious tradition of Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House, now Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company Limited, Hanoi, Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper affirmed that this is an important milestone, opening the 70-year journey of serving the revolutionary cause of the Party and the People.

At the end of April 1955, in the context of the country having just won a glorious victory in the resistance war against French colonialism, implementing the direction of the Party Central Committee, Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House was established in Hanoi Capital, printing a part of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

On April 30, the entire output of Nhan Dan Newspaper No. 425, published on May 1, 1955, printed in two colors with bright red flag-colored mantels, continuously flowed out from the LB 201 typographic roll printing machines. Since then, April 30 every year has been taken as the traditional anniversary of the establishment of Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House in Hanoi (now Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company Limited).

According to Mr. Le Quoc Minh, through historical periods, the unit has continuously developed, successfully completing the task of printing press publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper, documents serving the Central Conference, important documents of the Party and State, directly contributing to propaganda work, orienting public opinion, and building an ideological foundation for the entire Party and people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh affirmed that the company always upholds its tradition, overcomes many difficulties and challenges to maintain, develop and master modern printing technology.

In addition to its core political tasks, the company is also proactive in market development, expanding printing services in accordance with legal regulations, building a prestigious brand in the printing and publishing industry; constantly innovating, applying digital technology, automation, artificial intelligence to the production process; improving product quality, increasing productivity, saving costs and optimizing business efficiency.

In particular, in the context of fierce competition in the printing market, rapid changes in modern media, as well as the profound impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has maintained stability, maintained growth, ensured jobs and income for employees, and continued to affirm its important role in the organizational system of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

Praising the great efforts and achievements that the Hanoi People's Newspaper Printing Company has achieved during the 70-year journey of construction and development, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh also requested the collective leadership, cadres, and employees of the Hanoi People's Newspaper Printing Company to continuously improve the printing quality of the publications of the People's Newspaper, documents and materials of the Party and State as well as social orders; building a strong brand in terms of quality, progress, and service reputation.

In addition, promote innovation activities, emulation movements for excellent workers, promote technical initiatives, improve processes to increase productivity, reduce costs, optimize resources; expand cooperation, diversify products, develop design services, prepress, and printing communications in accordance with the direction and legal regulations, to spread the brand, creating a sustainable development.

In addition, the company needs to strongly apply modern science and technology, digital transformation in management, production and operation, to improve competitiveness, operational efficiency and service quality; strengthen communication work, build an exemplary corporate image, closely linked to the culture of Nhan Dan Newspaper; focus on training and fostering a team of high-quality personnel, with political courage, solid skills and good moral qualities.

Reviewing the outstanding results in the company's operations, Ms. Tran Thi Kieu Thanh Binh, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company Limited, said that the history of Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House is always closely linked to the history of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

Currently, the company is assigned by the leaders of Nhan Dan Newspaper to print nearly 78,000 copies/issue of Nhan Dan Daily, more than 22,000 copies/issue of Nhan Dan Weekend, nearly 24,000 copies/issue of Nhan Dan Monthly, nearly 10,000 copies/issue of Thoi Nay, in addition to printing Hanoi special pages, Ho Chi Minh City special pages and supplements for 6 socio-economic regions and special supplements in large quantities.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the company prints a large number of Tet Newspaper publications, ensuring the best quality and completion in the shortest time.

At the ceremony, authorized by the President and Party leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan awarded the Third Class Labor Medal (for the second time) to the collective leadership, officers, employees and workers of Nhan Dan Hanoi Newspaper Printing Company Limited, recognizing the company's outstanding achievements in the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland./.

In recognition of the company's outstanding achievements over the past 70 years, the Party and the State have awarded many noble awards, including two Independence Medals, First and Second Class; three Labor Medals, First, Second and Third Class; and the Third Class Labor Medal (second time) awarded on April 15, 2025, demonstrating the persistent, continuous and proud dedication of generations of the company's staff and employees.
