Panoramic view of Seraphin waste-to-energy plant.

From afar, the Seraphin factory stands out with its shimmering white color, reflecting light from the glass fiber reinforced concrete panels with a special GRC surface - a material that usually only appears in 5-star projects such as theaters, hotels, etc.

In just over 3 years from the time of construction permit issuance to operation, the project has become a miracle in terms of progress while other plants take 5-8 years. More special is that this is also the first large-scale waste-to-energy plant invested by a Vietnamese enterprise. With outstanding capacity, Seraphin is currently among the largest waste-to-energy plants in Vietnam as well as in the region.

Completely different from the traditional factory and workshop style, Seraphin is built entirely of solid, impressive and modern precast concrete components. Surrounding the project is a landscape space that is systematically planned according to international standards, harmonious and green, giving the feeling of being immersed in an ecological area.

The control center - the "digital brain" of the factory - applies the most advanced digitalization, automation and AI technology to help the operating process be synchronous, modern and fully automatic.

With 3 modern incinerators applying Martin waste-to-energy technology (Germany), which has been Asianized to suit unsorted waste in Vietnam, the plant currently processes 2,250 tons of waste per day and generates 37MW of clean electricity.

Thanks to technological optimization, the factory helps reduce 97-98% of the volume of waste that must be buried, while also moving towards a circular economy : treated water is recycled for use in the factory, ash and slag are used to produce unburnt bricks and precast concrete; electricity is added to the national grid...

To ensure that all emission standards meet European standards - which are many times stricter than Vietnamese standards - the factory has invested in high-end machinery and equipment as well as other auxiliary materials and supplies... Thanks to that, Seraphin's post-treatment emissions not only meet international standards but are also environmentally friendly.

The factory not only burns waste but also gradually “burns” the decades-long concerns of the people and the City. Here, waste is transformed into resources, problems into values - a vivid manifestation of the circular economy.

Treated leachate meets column A, QCVN standards - colorless, odorless, completely similar to natural water and is recycled in the factory.

Right in the heart of the factory, the Environmental Education Center is vividly designed, displaying visual models, real images and modern technological diagrams, ready to welcome students to visit, experience learning and exchange experiences.

The lives of employees at the factory are also taken care of comprehensively, with well-planned office and housing areas, fully equipped with functional rooms and amenities.

Seraphin - AMACCAO Waste-to-Energy Plant not only effectively treats waste for Hanoi, but also pioneers in creating new standards with modern technology, friendly landscape, environmental education model and orientation for developing green economy - circular economy - digital economy - private economy.
The friendly operation has helped Seraphin gain consensus and support from many sides - which was the biggest challenge for previous waste treatment plants.
The factory also contributes to making Hanoi a destination for sightseeing, reference, and experience exchange with other provinces and cities, laying the foundation for the journey to build modern, sustainable, beautiful, and friendly waste treatment facilities throughout Vietnam.
Seraphin Waste to Energy Plant (Amaccao) is recruiting for many positions. Contact details:
