Nha Trang adjusts signs prohibiting passenger vans with more than 29 seats from traveling during rush hour

The People's Committee of Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa Province) has just agreed to adjust the sign prohibiting passenger vehicles with more than 29 seats, allowing these vehicles to travel in the direction of Le Hong Phong - Vinpearl and vice versa during the time frame of 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. every day.

Specifically, the permitted traffic route includes: Le Hong Phong - To Huu intersection → Ring Road 2 (Vo Van Kiet) → Phuoc Long → Vo Thi Sau → To Hieu → Tran Phu → Vinpearl and vice versa.

The Department of Economics - Infrastructure - Urban Areas of Nha Trang City is assigned to organize the adjustment of traffic signs, monitor the situation, and advise on solutions if traffic congestion occurs.

Previously, from December 20, 2024, Nha Trang City applied a ban on passenger vans with more than 29 seats entering the central area during two rush hours: 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The restricted area for passenger vans with more than 29 seats is calculated from the east of Le Hong Phong Street to Tran Phu Street and from the south of Cai River to the north of Binh Tan Bridge. This is a measure to ensure traffic order and reduce congestion, especially on routes near residential areas and schools.

This adjustment was made based on the proposal of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company and the consensus of the Traffic Police Department - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, Department of Construction, Department of Economy - Infrastructure - Urban Areas of the city.
