Composer Nguyen Van Chung shared with Tuoi Tre Online that every time he returns to the Rung Sac war zone, it feels like the first time. This is a special forest, which contributed to the historic victory in the defense of the country.
“I once went on a tour through the Sac Forest from 1 PM to 5 PM, and I understood more about the survival spirit of the soldiers. I plan to compose a song about Can Gio and the Sac Forest – where our ancestors fought and sacrificed for independence and freedom. I'm waiting for enough inspiration to write it,” Nguyen Van Chung confided.

According to Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, this is the first activity organized by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee to connect artists from various fields, to sit down and talk about their profession, their favorite things or concerns, and share about social issues affecting cultural and artistic life.
“Through thematic workshops, we integrate the State's policies and guidelines to disseminate to musicians and singers, contributing to beautifying the artistic life. We will organize one workshop every quarter, selecting prominent issues to share and exchange ideas. This is also an opportunity for those who are still concerned, worried, or have questions about policies to discuss them. In the near future, we will invite artists from the fields of theater and film...” - Ms. Thanh Thuy emphasized.
