Replicating the model of preserving cultural identity associated with tourism development in new rural construction

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 1447/QD-BVHTTDL on building and replicating a model of preserving and promoting cultural identity associated with tourism development in new rural construction.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and abolishes Decision No. 1823/QD-BVHTTDL dated July 4, 2024 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism approving the Plan to build and replicate the model of preserving and promoting cultural identity associated with tourism development in new rural construction in 2024.

According to the Decision, in August and September 2025, the construction of a "Model for preserving and promoting the traditional culture of the San Chi people associated with the development of community tourism in Quang Ninh province" will be implemented; the construction of a "Model for the activities of the Don ca tai tu club associated with Lang Rung tourism" in the construction of new rural areas in Ca Mau province; the construction of a model for the activities of the "Vi, Giam folk song club in the grassroots cultural life" in Ha Tinh province will be implemented.

In particular, in Quang Ninh, training was organized on methods and skills to build, establish and maintain the activities of folk song and dance clubs associated with community tourism development; orientation to build community cultural activity models, aiming to promote traditional cultural values ​​to create products serving sustainable tourism development in Quang Ninh province; building a model of San Chi ethnic folk song and dance clubs in villages and hamlets associated with tourism development.

In Ca Mau, the organization introduced the value of the intangible cultural heritage "Don ca tai tu"; the traditional cultural value of "Lang Rung" in the resistance war against the US to save the country; oriented the construction of the activity model "Don ca tai tu club associated with Lang Rung tourism" in the construction of new rural areas; promoted traditional cultural values ​​to create products serving sustainable tourism development in the locality.

In addition, training on methods and skills to build, establish and maintain the activities of folk song and dance clubs; exploit and promote traditional cultural values ​​to serve the development of community tourism; organize visual propaganda activities on media to introduce and promote the unique traditional cultural values ​​of the locality; build a "Model of Don ca tai tu Club associated with Lang Rung tourism" to exploit and promote traditional cultural values ​​associated with tourism development.

In Ha Tinh, organize training to disseminate contents on preserving and promoting traditional cultural identity associated with tourism development in new rural construction and methods and skills to build, establish and maintain the activities of Vi and Giam folk song clubs; orient the development of cultural activity models to promote the traditional cultural values ​​of Vi and Giam folk songs, create products to serve sustainable tourism development; organize visual propaganda activities on media about the traditional cultural values ​​of Vi and Giam folk songs, the beauty of cultural activities in the community.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires construction models to closely follow the goals, tasks and solutions on preserving cultural identity associated with tourism development in new rural construction, ensuring practicality, feasibility and sustainability.
