Ham Thuan Nam Social Policy Bank introduces cashless payment via VBSP SmartBanking

Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Minh, Director of the Ham Thuan Nam Social Policy Bank Transaction Office, spoke at the launching ceremony.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Minh, Director of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Ham Thuan Nam, emphasized the important role of digital technology applications in life; at the same time, encouraged union members and youths to actively access and use non-cash payment services on the Mobile Banking application of the Social Policy Bank. This application is designed to be friendly, safe and integrates many utilities, allowing customers to perform financial and non-financial services such as: 24/7 fast money transfer, bill payment, top-up, payment by QR Pay code, check payment account information, look up transaction history, etc.

The transaction office continues to promote the promotion of credit policy programs for students, including the Student Loan Program under Decision No. 157/2007/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister and the loan support program for students studying STEM majors. These policies contribute to creating conditions for students in difficult circumstances to continue studying, improve their qualifications and develop their careers in the future.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, professional staff of the Ham Thuan Nam Social Policy Bank Transaction Office directly guided union members and youths on how to download, install and use the VBSP Smart Banking application on mobile devices.

It is known that previously, the Farmers' Association and the Women's Union of Ham Thuan Nam commune coordinated with the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Ham Thuan Nam to choose the temporary market in Minh Thanh village (old Ham Minh commune) to deploy the opening of Mobile Banking accounts for cashless payments on the VBSP Smart Banking application of the Social Policy Bank to small traders, members and people. After deploying and widely propagating to members who are doing business and trading at the markets, 209 customers installed and used the Mobile Banking service of the Social Policy Bank.

Through the launching ceremony, as well as the widespread implementation of socio -political organizations, it has contributed to spreading the spirit of digital transformation in the community, encouraging union members and young people to access digital technology, while promoting civilized and modern payment habits, in line with the development trend of the current digital economy.
