Many medical examination and treatment facilities in Hai Duong have not yet implemented electronic prescriptions.

According to the Hai Duong Department of Health , as of August 1, 116 out of 223 medical examination and treatment facilities in Hai Duong province have been granted a connection code, prescribing drugs electronically with 693,417 prescriptions updated to the donthuocquocgia.vn software system.

Many medical examination and treatment facilities have seriously implemented this, such as: Rehabilitation Hospital, Hai Duong Children's Hospital, Medical Centers and Medical Stations in Kinh Mon town, Nam Sach district, Thanh Ha district.

Besides, there are still some units that have not really seriously implemented or even not implemented yet, such as the Obstetrics Hospital, Hai Duong Medical Technical University Hospital, Military Hospital 7, Hoa Binh General Hospital and most of the private general and specialized clinics in the province.

Faced with the above situation, on August 4, the Hai Duong Department of Health sent a document to medical examination and treatment facilities in the province regarding the serious implementation of electronic prescription at medical examination and treatment facilities in accordance with the provisions of law.

Accordingly, the Department of Health requires provincial general and specialized hospitals; hospitals under ministries and branches; private general and specialized clinics; medical stations, agencies and enterprises in the province to strictly comply with regulations on electronic prescription and to connect all prescriptions of the unit to the donthuocquocgia.vn software system according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health.

For the Medical Centers of districts, towns and cities, continue to support the health stations of communes, wards and towns to complete the registration of codes for connecting medical examination and treatment facilities, registering codes for connecting people who are allowed to prescribe and connecting prescriptions to the system in accordance with regulations. Organize inspection, supervision, urging, reminding and timely correcting departments, rooms and health stations to strictly implement the posting of prescriptions to the donthuocquocgia.vn software system.

According to Circular No. 04/2022/TT-BYT dated July 12, 2022 of the Ministry of Health, all medical examination and treatment facilities in the province must implement electronic prescriptions before June 30, 2023. In the past time, the Department of Health has issued many documents urging medical examination and treatment facilities to implement in accordance with the above prescribed time.../.
