Many special activities at Le Hoan Temple Festival and Culture - Tourism Week

From April 13 to 17 (ie from March 5 to 9, Giap Thin year), at Le Hoan Temple, Xuan Lap commune, Tho Xuan district, the Le Hoan Temple Festival 2024 and the Tho Xuan District Culture - Tourism - Cuisine Week 2024 will take place.

Within the framework of the festival, many special activities will be held such as organizing a palanquin procession from Hoang Khao Tomb and Quoc Mau Tomb to the court yard; offering incense at Le Hoan Temple.

The opening ceremony of the Le Hoan Festival will take place at 8:00 a.m. on April 16 (March 8, Giap Thin year) with traditional ceremonies and the art program "Emperor Le Dai Hanh - A feat recorded forever", recreating the life and career of national hero Le Hoan.

The opening ceremony of Tho Xuan Culture - Tourism - Cuisine Week will take place on the evening of April 13 (March 5, Giap Thin year). There will be many activities such as displaying, introducing and selling OCOP products of Tho Xuan district, enterprises, cooperatives inside and outside the district; performing folk games and performances; and mass art festivals.

In addition, there are mass sports activities such as tug of war, sack jumping, volleyball, campfire, camping, making vegetarian feasts for the King...; promotional activities, introducing tourism products.

Le Hoan Temple Festival is held to honor the merits and career of national hero Le Hoan and those who have contributed to the history of building and defending the country; to express the deep gratitude of today's generation for the cultural heritage left by their ancestors; to arouse the beauty of Thanh's traditional culture; to affirm national pride and self-respect; to contribute to educating the tradition of patriotism, love of homeland, and national pride. At the same time, to honor, introduce and promote the strengths of cultural values, local products, and cultural tourism potential of Thanh province.
