On the afternoon of November 5, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province held a press conference to inform about the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and the event "Hello Ca Mau".
At the press conference, Mr. Ly Vi Trieu Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, said that the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2025 with the theme "Ca Mau Crab: Forest Fragrance - Sea Flavor" is a provincial-level event that will take place from November 16 to 22.
The opening ceremony of the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2025 will take place at 8:00 p.m. on November 16 at Phan Ngoc Hien Square, An Xuyen Ward (Ca Mau).
In addition, the event also organized a display space, a trade exhibition of the crab industry; start-up products, innovation and OCOP products with a scale of more than 310 booths. Organized a "record setting" contest for Ca Mau crabs with folk games, such as: fast crab catching; fast crab tying and crab racing...; workshop "Innovation for sustainable development of the Ca Mau - Vietnam sea crab industry".
Also at the press conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Ca Mau province Nguyen Duc Thanh provided information about the event "Hello Ca Mau". Accordingly, with the theme "Unleashing potential, creating the future", the event will take place from November 18, 2025 to November 22, 2025 to communicate and promote the Ca Mau Crab Festival in Ho Chi Minh City to promote potential, strengths, and investment opportunities.
At the same time, expand cooperation, introduce culture, cuisine and key products of Ca Mau to the domestic and international community.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Le Van Su, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, said that the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and the event "Hello Ca Mau" promise to bring many activities with rich content and attractive form.
The scale of the event is appropriate to the province's position in the new situation, promoting the core values and characteristics of culture, nature, land and people of Ca Mau.
