Mr. Phan Thanh Phong, Principal of Vo Thi Sau Primary School, said that the school has sent a report to the Health Department, Health Center, and Education and Training Department of District 7. The leaders of the People's Committee of District 7 have also directed relevant agencies to take action.

Many parents whose children study at Vo Thi Sau Primary School reported that on the afternoon of April 9, after returning home from school, their children vomited a lot, could not eat, had stomachaches and fever. By the morning of April 10, this condition had not improved, so the family took them to the hospital for examination.
On the morning of April 10, the school's medical department counted and heard reports from homeroom teachers. There were 21 students absent from school due to stomachaches, vomiting, and some had diarrhea since the night of April 9. By noon on April 10, the students' condition had stabilized. Families and the school are actively monitoring the students' condition.
It is known that the school uses industrial catering to serve meals for boarding students. The school principal has asked the medical department to keep the food samples sealed on April 9 for the authorities to work on.
Recently, on March 26 and 27, 45 students of Tue Duc Primary and Secondary School (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) showed signs of stomachache after eating lunch, afternoon tea, and breakfast at school, suspected of food poisoning.
On March 29, District 11 Hospital received 37 cases of abdominal pain, vomiting, and suspected food poisoning, including 33 children aged 13-15 and a 6-year-old student at Tan Tuc Secondary School, Binh Chanh District. The students went to Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11) and bought bread at HK store in District 6. District 6 authorities came to take samples for testing to clarify the cause.
