The model of studying and following Uncle Ho in propagating and implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life and civilized urban areas" deployed by the Association of War Veterans in Que Ward in 2022 has brought positive results. Over the years, the association has had no members who violated the law; war veterans and people in residential groups live in a healthy environment; family traditions are preserved; funerals and weddings are organized solemnly, civilly, and economically; there is no superstition in the ward. Cultural, artistic, and sports movements attract a large number of war veterans and people to participate... Every year, through evaluation, over 99% of war veterans meet the criteria of "Exemplary members"; the ward war veterans association is often the leading unit in the town's emulation movement, and is commended by all levels of the association.

Currently, the Town's War Veterans Association has more than 6,000 members, operating in 24 grassroots organizations. Continuing to promote the implementation of Directive 05 and Conclusion 01 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, every year the Town's War Veterans Association organizes the study and dissemination of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, and annual topics to 100% of officers and employees. Through the study, most officers and employees have become aware and have made positive changes in moral training, maintaining lifestyle, being exemplary, promoting a sense of responsibility for work, regularly understanding the thoughts and feelings of the people, thereby advising the Party Committee and the government to promptly resolve any problems arising from the grassroots. In addition, every year, the grassroots War Veterans Associations at all levels also assign targets for each branch to build 1 model in various fields under the direction of the local Party Committee.

Thereby, many models of the War Veterans Association at all levels have brought about effectiveness and spread such as: "Propaganda for cadres, members and people in site clearance"; "Propaganda for cadres, members and people to move individual graves to centralized cemeteries"; "Propaganda for cadres and members to classify and treat waste at households"; "Self-managed routes"; "Self-managed veteran groups to ensure traffic safety"...

In 2024 alone, the association effectively implemented the model of "Veterans propagating and mobilizing cadres, members and people in site clearance to implement projects in the town" and replicated the model of "Veterans propagating and mobilizing cadres, members and people to classify household waste" in localities. At the same time, directed each unit to build a pilot model in the fields of politics, socio -economy, national defense and security; deployed the construction and maintenance of the model of "Self-managed environmental sanitation route" in 17/17 communes and wards...

Along with promoting the construction and implementation of the model of following Uncle Ho, with the motto "Veterans set good examples, contribute ideas, and contribute to building new rural areas", CBHV has participated in the construction and supervision of local works with over 11,000 working days; directly received the construction of 38,400m of rural roads; participated in the construction of 12.7km of internal irrigation works; dredged 9,114m3 of canals; participated in the construction of welfare works of cultural houses, medical stations, schools, cemeteries with thousands of workers, supported hundreds of millions of VND from the association's fund and contributions from members... In particular, recently, the association has established 85 CCB clubs to participate in environmental protection. Club members are active factors in propagating environmental protection to CBHV and people; organizing environmental cleaning sessions on village roads, alleys, and residential groups; Planting and caring for more than 10 thousand square meters of various flowers...
