Retail group deploys electronic invoices from the highest cash register

Phu Yen Tax Department has just requested its affiliated units to coordinate with relevant agencies to promote the implementation of electronic invoices (E-invoices) and E-invoices generated from cash registers in the province.

Accordingly, the Tax sector will coordinate with units to continue to propagate the policy of implementing electronic invoices and electronic invoices generated from cash registers to businesses and business households in the area; review and request establishments subject to implementing electronic invoices generated from cash registers to register for application in 2024.

Tax authorities also coordinate to inspect businesses that have registered to apply electronic invoices, electronic invoices generated from cash registers in business areas, ensuring that 100% of transactions are recorded and fully issued electronic invoices; detect and strictly handle cases that have registered but do not apply, do not fully apply the issuance of electronic invoices, and violate tax laws...

It is known that previously, the Tax Department had reviewed businesses and business households that are subject to implementing electronic invoices generated from cash registers. The review was carried out in 5 groups.

Group 1 includes food and beverage businesses, restaurants, hotels; Group 2: Retail of goods at shopping centers, supermarkets, consumer goods retail; Group 3: Retail of modern medicine; Group 4: Other services (entertainment services, bridge and road tickets, bus tickets, sightseeing tickets, tourism ...); Group 5: Gold and silver trading.

Through the review from January 1 to April 17, 2024, the whole province has 468 enterprises and business households that have implemented electronic invoices generated from cash registers, accounting for 23% of the actual review list. Of which, group 2 has the highest number of implementations with 145 enterprises and 126 business households having implemented; group 3 has the lowest number of implementations with 3 enterprises and 1 business household having implemented.
