On the morning of April 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, a state-level rehearsal for a military parade took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
From 3am, thousands of people from all over flocked to District 1, including Bach Dang Wharf area, Nguyen Hue Walking Street area, and the streets around Khanh Hoi (District 4)... to wait to watch the cannon firing and the aircraft display.
Among them, many people chose a very convenient location to watch the aircraft in a clear and beautiful atmosphere, which is the Saigon River Park area (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City), instead of being crowded on the central streets of District 1 or Nguyen Hue walking street.

"This area cannot see parades or marches, but in return the view of fireworks and airplanes is great because it is airy and not too crowded" - Mr. Hien said.
Along the road along the Saigon River Park, the sunflower fields, Thu Thiem wharf, the extended Nguyen Thien Thanh street area... many people and tourists from neighboring localities such as Dong Nai and Binh Duong also came to watch the fighter jet show.
