THACO AUTO Production Division currently has 630 female employees, accounting for nearly 20% of the total number of employees. Working in an environment where “strengths do not belong to women”, the “flowers” of the automobile industry are still striving every day, dedicated, diligent, actively working creatively, making important contributions to the overall development of the Group.
Working at the Paint Shop, THACO KIA Company for 8 years, but Ms. Nguyen Thi Trung has achieved the title of excellent individual for 4 years. Ms. Trung said that at first, she was worried that she could not meet the job requirements which were not suitable for women, but with determination and effort to learn, after 1 year, she has mastered the job, and now can take on many other positions such as: glue scraper, floor lining, glue sweeper...
“Thanks to the support of my manager and colleagues, from someone who was only familiar with farming, I have integrated into the industrial working environment, adapted and completed the assigned tasks well. I will continue to strive to improve my professional qualifications and skills to work more effectively” – Ms. Nguyen Thi Trung shared.
In addition, at automobile manufacturing and assembly plants, many women also participate in production lines that require high skills such as welding, assembly, painting and inspection... Ms. Tran Thi Thanh - Painter of the Paint Workshop, BUS THACO Company is one of the typical female employees, having won the title of excellent and good individual for many consecutive years. Not only being exemplary and completing assigned tasks well, Ms. Thanh also contributed many improvements that brought high efficiency and cost savings. "During the working process, I always try to take advantage of available materials, calculate how to save both production and investment costs, bringing maximum efficiency. With each successful project, I feel very happy and joyful, gradually initiatives and improvements have become the motivation for us to work and be creative every day" - Ms. Thanh shared.
Product research and development work is traditionally a male strength, but at THACO AUTO R&D Center, many women are still undertaking and completing important tasks very well such as: simulation; product design and prototyping; material testing; monitoring and handling technical issues...
Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Minh is a typical employee, contributing to the success of many projects in the simulation room, Automotive R&D Center. She said: “My work is closely related to 3D models, analysis, and providing solutions to optimize the performance and features of systems on vehicle lines. This is an interesting job but also a challenge for female engineers like me. Sometimes when carrying out complex projects, I feel quite pressured, but with my love for the job and desire to contribute to the company, I have strived to improve my capacity and skills to ensure progress and increase work efficiency”.
As a young employee in the KD Project Management Department, Automotive R&D Center, with her passion and learning spirit, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen quickly caught up with the job and achieved the title of excellent individual in 2023. Her job is to determine the list of materials and components, manage components on the vehicle, and monitor changes in each component that affect the assembly process. Ms. Huyen expressed: “Determining the list of materials and components plays an important role in the product creation process, my colleagues and I are always conscious of improving our capacity, practicing concentration, accuracy and meticulousness at each stage. I believe that if I have enough passion and enthusiasm, even the most difficult job can be completed.”
With the spirit of overcoming difficulties, creativity, and dedication, female employees at THACO AUTO Production Division have turned difficulties into motivation and passion, every day affirming their capacity and role in the overall development of the company, while spreading the spirit of dedication to all THACO employees.
