Solving the problem of infrastructure
In the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Phu Secondary School (Tran Hung Dao Ward, Hung Yen) was delighted to receive the headquarters of public service units under the People's Committee of Thai Binh City (old) to use as classrooms according to Decision 599 of the People's Committee of Hung Yen Province.
This is also the first educational institution in Hung Yen to receive the surplus state agency headquarters after the reorganization of administrative units at all levels. This not only solves the school's long-standing problem of facilities, but also demonstrates the locality's determination to optimize resources and prioritize investment in education.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Hoa, the school's principal, over the years, with a large number of students, the school has always faced difficulties due to a lack of classrooms and department rooms. The old facility was built in 2016 with an area of over 7,000 m², with 21 classrooms, forcing the school to arrange for some classes to take turns studying in one classroom.
“In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will have over 1,300 students divided into 25 classes. Immediately after receiving the school, the school promptly repaired and renovated it to suit its function as well as installed new equipment and desks and chairs to ensure that students have enough classrooms before the new school year begins,” Ms. Hoa excitedly said.

Ms. Hoa added that the new headquarters has added 4 classrooms for about 200 students, 7 subject rooms and 10 functional rooms to the school. Thanks to that, the difficulty in basic facilities has been resolved, meeting the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program.
This also creates favorable conditions for the school to organize two sessions per day, develop gifted subjects, and help students comprehensively practice both knowledge and skills.
Multiply the joy of the new school year
Pham Minh Anh, a student of class 6A4, could not hide her joy when studying in a new, spacious and clean classroom. For her, having more space to study and play not only improves the quality of education but also creates comfort and increases excitement every day at school.
Ms. Tran Thi Bich Lien, homeroom teacher of class 6A4, shared: "Teachers and students are both happy and excited to study in a new, spacious, airy classroom fully equipped with equipment. Thanks to good facilities, students can absorb knowledge very quickly and have better learning conditions."

Sharing the same joy, Ms. Pham Thi Nga, Head of the Social Sciences Group, said that after receiving the headquarters, the school gradually invested in completing the functional rooms, especially the English classroom, with the goal of creating a modern, high-quality learning environment for students.
Investing in specialized classrooms and functional room systems is an important premise in the roadmap to making English the second language in schools.
In recent times, Hung Yen province has implemented many solutions to manage, arrange, and handle many public assets, especially redundant headquarters, including converting functions to serve socio-economic development goals.
On September 3, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province issued Official Dispatch No. 1218-CV/UBND on the management, arrangement, disposition, and handling of public assets after the reorganization of administrative units at all levels. In particular, the People's Committee of the province requires communes and wards to complete the preparation and promulgation of a Plan for handling and organizing the handling of surplus facilities under their management when reorganizing commune-level administrative units before September 25.
