Ninh Binh voted as the most attractive destination in the world

On July 4, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism said that the travel guide platform TripAdvisor (USA) has just announced the list of winners in the category "Best of the best things to do, voted by tourists in 2024".

Ninh Binh was voted by tourists in the "Top 10 most attractive experiences in 2024" (Out of 8 million lists voted within 12 months on the TripAdvisor platform, only less than 1% were named).

Ninh Binh Tourism Promotion Center said that in the first 6 months of 2024, the number of tourists coming to Ninh Binh reached over 6,281.7 thousand (an increase of 38.47% over the same period last year, reaching 83.76% of the 2024 plan); the number of visitors to accommodation establishments is estimated at over 1,184 thousand, nearly 1.8 times higher; the number of days of guest stay is estimated at over 1,294.2 thousand days, more than 1.5 times higher.

Tourism revenue in the first 6 months of 2024 reached over VND 5,936.8 billion (1.5 times higher than the same period last year, reaching 71.96% of the 2024 plan). Of which, the accommodation sector reached over VND 446 billion, the restaurant sector reached over VND 2,945.3 billion, the transportation sector is estimated at over VND 726 billion, and sightseeing tickets reached over VND 387.2 billion...

Ninh Binh province aims to become a centrally-governed city by 2035 with the characteristics of "Millennium Heritage City, Creative City" with Trang An Heritage as the center.
