Ninh Thuan : 4 key transport projects targeted for completion in 2024

According to the Management Board of Ninh Thuan Province Traffic Construction Investment Project (hereinafter referred to as the Management Board), the Road Project connecting Tan Son town, Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province to Ta Nang intersection, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province has a total length of 63.32 km, divided into 2 component projects.

Up to now, Component Project 1 from Tan Son town to Ma Noi commune with a length of 22.3 km has been completed and put into operation from December 26, 2023.

Project Component 2 of the road from Ma Noi commune, Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province to Ta Nang intersection, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province has a length of 41.04 km (about 23.94 km through Ninh Thuan province, about 17.1 km through Lam Dong province); with a total investment of more than 1,000 billion VND.

Currently, Component 2 Project is implementing the construction of the roadbed, road surface, and drainage works on the route at sections with a surface area of about 23.5 km. Of which, the section through Ninh Thuan province has been constructed for 8 km, and the section through Lam Dong province has been constructed for 15.5 km.

As of February 20, Component 2 Project has completed 14 km of asphalt concrete pavement, with an estimated value of about 65% of the signed contract.

At the launching ceremony of the road project from Ma Noi commune, Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province to Ta Nang intersection, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province on February 20, Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this is a key project of the province, which needs to be accelerated and completed soon to break the division, create momentum for inter-regional connectivity, promote socio -economic development of the province, especially connecting and promoting the development of the Southern Key Economic Zone of Ninh Thuan.

Therefore, the Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee requested investors, contractors, supervision and design consultants; departments, branches and localities to enhance their sense of responsibility, work seriously, objectively and impartially; support and create the most favorable conditions to implement the Project on schedule and with quality according to approved documents, and soon complete and put the project into operation and use.

According to the Management Board, in addition to the above project, 3 key traffic projects invested by the unit, including the Van Lam - Son Hai Road Project; the Road connecting the North - South Expressway with National Highway 1 and Ca Na General Seaport; and the Northern Ring Road Project, have all resumed construction after the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday.

These four projects are all targeted to be completed and put into use in 2024.
