Training linked to reality
In the context of globalization and increasingly deep international economic integration, the need for high-quality human resources, fluent in foreign languages, knowledgeable in digital skills and capable of working in a multicultural environment is becoming urgent.
Responding to that trend, the International Faculty - Thai Nguyen University has been affirming its position as one of the pioneering training units in providing high-quality human resources, linking theory and practice, combining specialized training with language and comprehensive professional skills.
In 2025, the Faculty of International Studies (Thai Nguyen University) will continue to enroll 8 majors, including: International Business; Business Administration and Finance; Business Analysis; Accounting; Financial Technology; International Studies; Natural Resources and Environmental Management and English Language.
These are all highly applicable majors, suitable for the needs of the domestic and foreign labor markets. The training program is designed in a modern way, regularly updated according to international standards, harmoniously combining specialized knowledge, soft skills and foreign languages, especially English.
In addition to studying theory, students also participate in practice, business simulations, group work, presentations, business internships and international exchange activities. According to the school representative, the goal of the Faculty is to "train global citizens who are able to adapt and develop in any working environment".

Flexible admission methods, expanding admission opportunities
To create the most favorable conditions for candidates in the 2025 enrollment period, the International Faculty has implemented 8 diverse admission methods, suitable for many different groups of subjects: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Thai Nguyen University. (Admission code: 301)
Consider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam. (Code: 100); Consider the high school transcript. (Code: 200); Consider the results of the competency assessment exam (organized by the National University) or thinking assessment (Hanoi University of Science and Technology). (Code: 402); Consider admission by the V-SAT entrance exam of Thai Nguyen University. (Code: 416)
Consideration of excellent students at provincial/municipal level. (Code: 500); Combining high school graduation exam scores with international certificates (IELTS, SAT, ACT...). (Code: 409); Combining academic records with international certificates. (Code: 410)
Simultaneously implementing multiple admission methods not only increases the chances of admission for candidates, but also contributes to selecting students with abilities suitable for the international training orientation of the Faculty. In particular, with methods combining international certificates, candidates can promote their advantages in foreign languages and thinking ability, instead of relying solely on graduation exam scores.
One of the highlights of the International Faculty’s training model is the close connection between academia and practice. Students participate in internships at businesses, simulated interviews, career orientation seminars, and discussions with experts and successful alumni.
In addition, the International Faculty is also the sole representative in Vietnam of the IAESTE professional exchange program, providing students with internship opportunities in more than 80 countries. At the same time, the Faculty also has international student exchange programs with schools in Europe and Asia through Erasmus+ scholarships, short-term programs, and international camps, helping students improve their skills and expand their global mindset.
In addition, students are encouraged to participate in academic and skill clubs, such as English Club, Startup Club, Debate Competition, Cultural Exchange, which help improve communication skills, teamwork and creativity.
Associate Professor Dr. Ha Xuan Linh - Head of International Faculty (Thai Nguyen University) shared: With a solid training foundation, solid foreign language skills and practical experience right from when they were still in school, graduates from the International Faculty have a high employment rate and are positively evaluated by employers.
According to internal statistics, over 90% of students have jobs in their major within 6 months of graduation. Popular positions include: international sales staff, assistant director, accountant, auditor, data analyst, human resources at FDI companies, multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations, education, tourism, media, etc.
In addition, many students continue to study postgraduate programs in the UK, USA, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, etc. thanks to their well-equipped foreign language and academic foundation.
The International Faculty (Thai Nguyen University) is gradually becoming a trusted address for many parents and students in the midlands and mountainous areas of the North and nationwide. The combination of international standard training models, international academic exchange opportunities and clear career orientation is helping students here gradually integrate and reach out in the global labor market.
