Diversified forms of propaganda

One of the important factors for successful implementation of poverty reduction goals is propaganda work.

Dai Tu district has deployed various forms of propaganda, from radio to village meetings and mass organization activities, to bring information about poverty reduction policies, production support models and digital transformation to the people. Radio programs, especially propaganda programs on digital transformation, have helped people access information quickly and effectively, while raising awareness of opportunities and support from the government.

Supporting people through digital technology

Along with that, Dai Tu district also focuses on supporting people, especially poor households, in accessing public services and information through digital technology. One of the notable steps is that the district has completed the creation of bank accounts for 100% of poor households. This not only helps the poor easily receive support, but also opens up opportunities for them to access electronic banking services and online public services.

In addition, the district also develops community digital technology groups to help people, especially poor households, learn how to use the Internet and telecommunications services to search for information, learn knowledge and improve skills.

Telecommunication infrastructure investment

Recognizing the importance of telecommunications infrastructure in supporting poverty reduction, Dai Tu district has focused on investing in and upgrading telecommunications infrastructure, especially in rural and mountainous areas.

Improving telecommunications networks not only helps people access Internet services but also facilitates the use of online public services, connects communities and increases economic development opportunities. These efforts have contributed to narrowing the digital divide, helping the poor not to be left behind in the digital transformation trend.

Direct support policy

In addition to propaganda and technology application, Dai Tu district also pays special attention to implementing policies to directly support the poor and near-poor. In 2024, nearly 3,700 Tet gifts were given to poor and near-poor households, with a total cost of more than 2 billion VND. The district also supported housing for three poor households and implemented other social security policies such as medical subsidies,education , and electricity support, helping the poor improve their lives and stabilize their lives.

Dai Tu district's efforts have yielded positive results. By the end of 2023, the district had reduced the number of poor households by more than 2,100, reaching 85.24% of the target. At the same time, the district has successfully built three models to support production development with 16 projects implemented in 16 communes in the area. Models such as supporting fertilizer for tea plants, supporting cattle and buffalo reproduction and developing rice have contributed to increasing people's income, helping them escape poverty sustainably.

To continue achieving the poverty reduction target, Dai Tu district continues to invest heavily in telecommunications infrastructure, apply information technology and implement solutions to support the poor in using public services. The goal is to create conditions for the poor to proactively access information, seek opportunities and enjoy fair and equal services.

With specific programs, flexible and creative support from the district government, and the motto of "leaving no one behind", Dai Tu district is striving to create an increasingly strong, united and sustainably developed community. The results achieved are clear evidence of the district's determination to reduce poverty and bring new opportunities to the poor./.
