According to initial information, at 9:45 a.m. the same day, at SGI VINA Company Limited in Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park (address: Tam Hiep commune, Nui Thanh district), which specializes in producing magnets, a machine explosion occurred.

At the scene, many workers were injured with skin lacerations, burns, and multiple injuries. The patients were taken to Quang Nam Central General Hospital (located in Nui Thanh district) for emergency treatment.
According to information from Quang Nam Central General Hospital, on the same morning, the Emergency Department received 12 burn patients who were believed to be workers in the accident. Currently, 1 patient with severe burns of 60-70% has had his burn wound debrided, pain relieved and anti-shock, and is being actively treated at the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Department.

There are 3 patients with burns of less than 10% with wounds being cared for, processed and treated at the Department of Trauma Surgery. The remaining 8 patients with multiple soft tissue injuries were treated at the Emergency Department and have been discharged.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene to investigate and verify the incident.
