Hai Long was chosen to replace Quang Hai.

Initially, the trio of Vietnamese players including Nguyen Hoang Duc (Ninh Binh Club), Nguyen Quang Hai ( Hanoi Police Club) and Do Duy Manh (Hanoi Club) were selected by the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) to be part of the ASEAN All-Stars team.

This squad, led by coach Kim Sang-sik, will participate in a special friendly match with MU Club, taking place on May 28 at Bukit Jalil Stadium (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). The match is part of the Maybank Challenge Cup.

However, Quang Hai could not participate in the match between Southeast Asian Stars. Coach Kim Sang-sik chose a replacement, midfielder Nguyen Hai Long of Hanoi Club.

In addition, Mr. Kim also selected Nguyen Van Vi of Nam Dinh .

Thus, the faces that will represent Vietnam to compete with MU include Hai Long, Duy Manh, Hoang Duc, and Van Vi.

Coach Kim Sang-sik emphasized: "It is a great honor to lead the best players from all ASEAN countries in a match of such importance. We are not only representing our countries but also showing the world the pride, spirit and strength of our region."

The ASEAN All-Stars squad comprises top players selected from all 12 AFF member associations, reflecting the diversity and collective strength of Southeast Asian football.

"MU is a football team with a rich tradition in England. The Manchester team is also one of the clubs with the largest fan base in the world. Therefore, the match between the ASEAN All Stars team and MU will certainly attract great attention from the audience, thereby becoming an opportunity to connect different cultures, while marking the development of football in the Southeast Asian region," said AFF President Khiev Sameth.

The organizers of the friendly match have announced ticket prices. The cheapest ticket (CAT 7, stands B and D) costs only 50 ringgit, equivalent to nearly 300,000 VND.

The remaining ticket categories are priced at 100 ringgit (577,000 VND), 250 ringgit (1.44 million VND), 380 ringgit (2.19 million VND), 580,000 ringgit (3.34 million VND), 780 ringgit (4.5 million VND). The most expensive is the VIP ticket (sitting in front of stand A), priced at 1,500 ringgit, equivalent to 8.65 million VND. The above prices do not include ticket issuance and processing fees.

Tickets priced at VND288,000 and VND577,000 are considered affordable for most fans, as tickets to watch friendly matches of major European football teams can often cost up to several million VND.

Part of the reason why tickets to the match between the Southeast Asian Stars and MU are so "affordable" is because Bukit Jalil Stadium has a capacity of up to 85,500 seats.
