How to recognize cancer through moles

In particular, Professor Quach warns that if you notice moles with the following signs, you need to go to the doctor early to detect the disease and treat it promptly (if any):

- Asymmetrical moles: The shape of a mole can warn of skin cancer. Accordingly, if the mole is asymmetrical, with two uneven halves, it is very likely a sign of a malignant tumor.

- Mole border: Normal moles will usually have a smooth, regular border. However, if the mole has uneven edges (border), blurred or jagged borders, it can be a warning sign of skin cancer.
