NTO - Strengthening food safety during the Grape Festival

On May 30, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting on food safety assurance during the ceremony to receive the UNESCO certificate inscribing "Cham pottery art on the list of intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection" and the Ninh Thuan Grape - Wine Festival in 2023.

After listening to the report of the representatives of the Department of Health, functional sectors and localities on the implementation of food safety management solutions during the UNESCO Certificate Ceremony and the Ninh Thuan Grape and Wine Festival in 2023, concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested all levels and sectors to consider food safety work as a key and regular task, especially strengthened during holidays and festivals; there needs to be determination and high responsibility from Party committees and authorities in leadership, direction and specific actions, strictly handling violations. All levels and sectors should promote information and propaganda, focusing on propagating, thoroughly grasping and effectively implementing Directive No. 07/CT-UBND dated April 5, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee. Commend and replicate typical establishments and good practices in implementing food safety work. People's Committees of localities, especially the City. Phan Rang - Thap Cham focuses on directing good management of food safety at processing, trading and catering establishments, especially street food establishments; promoting propaganda for people and tourists to strictly implement food safety regulations. The Department of Health coordinates with relevant sectors and localities to research and advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize a launching ceremony to simultaneously implement food safety work in the whole province before the opening of the Grape - Wine Festival.
