Possessing a powerful voice and beautiful appearance, singer Thu Thuy - a student of People's Artist Ha Thuy, won first prize in the Hanoi Voice Contest 2016 and then was crowned champion of the light music category of the Sao Mai Contest 2017.

Having a connection through music , Thu Thuy and Minh Quan, after a period of getting to know each other, decided to get married to share and support each other in their careers. Northern artists nicknamed them "the golden couple of the music industry".

Sharing with VietNamNet, Thu Thuy said that in the married life of both husband and wife, both being artists, there are more advantages than disadvantages, especially in terms of harmony in emotions and outlook on life.

Minh Quan said that when they first got married, like many other couples, he and his wife sometimes had conflicts, but after everything, they both tried to control themselves and give in so that the conflicts would soon pass.

''What I love most about Thuy is her kind nature. Thuy is gentle and sometimes even a bit naive. When she plays with friends or in society, she doesn't calculate or get jealous about anything'' - singer Minh Quan shared about his other half.

On April 26, 2025, Minh Quan and Thu Thuy will hold a mini show Love at the Music Garden, Hanoi Opera House, to celebrate the couple's 10th year of singing and also an opportunity for them to express their feelings to the audience.

This is a special event, not only marking an important milestone in their musical career but also an opportunity for Minh Quan and Thu Thuy to share their love journey, accompanying each other from stage to real life.

The music night will be divided into 3 chapters: Meeting, Love and Affection. Meeting is the beginning moment of all love, fresh emotions, full of vitality.

Next is Love of surging emotions, the sweetest and most romantic songs expressing the attraction and passion in love. And finally Thuong is love that has been tempered over time, through ups and downs.

Singer Thu Thuy revealed: ''My husband and I's music night will be supported by the Binh Van band and led by MC Le Anh. Hopefully the audience will have the most romantic and impressive moments.''
