According to information from the Southern Women's Museum, Ms. Ta Thi Kieu organized and participated in 107 direct political struggles with the enemy, fought 33 battles, killed 7 enemies, wounded 11, captured 13, and seized 24 guns of various types.

In January 1960, she was assigned to build a movement and organize the grassroots. For nearly 7 months, she persistently mobilized the people, organized many political struggles with the enemy, developed 3 core groups in the revolutionary force, mobilized 13 soldiers' families, and propagandized 4 Republic of Vietnam soldiers to return to the people.

To support the political struggle, Ms. Ta Thi Kieu organized a guerrilla squad to regularly distribute leaflets, destroy fences in strategic hamlets, plant mines, destroy roads, burn guardhouses, and kill villains, causing the enemy to become increasingly confused and shaken.

In the battle at An Binh outpost, although our forces were small, thanks to the internal support base, we cleverly deceived and dispersed the enemy, creating conditions for our comrades to completely capture the outpost, our base was safe and we still maintained a legal fighting position.

In the battle of Kinh Ngang outpost, Mrs. Ta Thi Kieu lured the enemy to the canal bank, creating an opportunity for the soldiers to storm in and take the outpost without firing a single bullet.

In October 1961, she commanded a guerrilla team to ambush enemy vehicles on the Mo Cay-Thom road, burning one vehicle. Because the enemy had a large force, they relied on their strength to fight back fiercely. Seeing the unfavorable situation, she calmly stayed alone to fight and block the enemy so that her comrades could safely evacuate the wounded.

With her contributions and achievements, in 1965, Ms. Ta Thi Kieu was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

In November 1965, she was one of the outstanding young people of the People's Liberation Armed Forces of the South chosen to go to the North to meet Uncle Ho. After the South was completely liberated and the country was unified, she continued to work in the Vietnam People's Army.
