Recently, singer Ngoc Son has accepted to participate in beauty pageants as a judge. This has attracted attention and even a lot of controversy because it is outside his expertise.

In response to VietNamNet's question: Are you worried about being doubted about your expertise when "entering" the beauty industry?

Ngoc Son responded that he always knew what his forte was - music . But with beauty pageants, the male singer does not come just to judge beauty but to listen to the hearts, personalities, and bravery of modern Vietnamese women.

"When sitting in the judge's position, I do not look at people with judgment but with respect. Because beauty queens represent aspiration, sacrifice, and the courage to overcome circumstances to contribute to the community.

That's what I've been aiming for for decades of singing: Using music to connect hearts and spread love," he said.

The final night saw the top 18 contestants compete in the following competitions: Ao Dai, office wear, evening gown, and behavioral competition.

After the competitions, Le Thi Thanh Kieu, born in 1993 from Quang Nam province, was crowned Miss Dai Viet Businesswoman 2025. In addition, she also received the Talented Beauty sub-award.

Le Thi Thanh Kieu is currently the Director of a fishing tackle company. She used to be an English interpreter in the tourism industry, then fell into her current profession.

In the final night, Thanh Kieu received the question: How do you balance and take care of family, career and social work? The female contestant's calm and straightforward answer helped her score full marks with the judges.

“I understand that life will never be perfect, nor will I always receive absolute approval from my loved ones.

But I believe that when each family member works towards a common goal, puts faith and love first, all difficulties can be overcome," she shared.

The titles of 1st, 2nd and 3rd runner-up were respectively awarded to the beauties Hoang Thi Sen (Tuyen Quang province), Doan Thi Kim Thoa (Dak Lak province), and Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh (Khanh Hoa province).

The contest is organized under the approval of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province and authorized by the People's Committee of Gia Lai province under Decision No. 1079/SVHTTDL-QLVHGĐ.
