On the afternoon of March 19, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Tra On district ( Vinh Long province) confirmed that he had learned of the incident in which a female student of Xuan Hiep Secondary School was beaten by a group of friends right in the classroom.
Accordingly, a 7-minute clip appeared on social media recording a scene of a female student being beaten by a group of friends. Among them, a female student even used a helmet to beat her friend.

The incident happened right in the classroom. The beaten female student could only cry and beg. Many other students witnessed and encouraged this behavior.
The incident happened at Xuan Hiep Secondary School. The victim was a 6th grade female student, the group of female students who beat and filmed the clip were classmates.
According to a report from Xuan Hiep Secondary School, the incident occurred during recess on the afternoon of March 7 (from 2:35 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.). The school explained that because the classroom for class 6/5 was located at the last corner of the second floor, next to an empty room, the incident was not discovered in time.
Regarding the cause, the school said that student L.D.BN (the student who beat his friend) borrowed 20,000 VND from student D.TTV (the student who was beaten).
After that, female student V. told some friends that N. borrowed money from her. Female student N. thought that V. spoke badly of her, so the two students had a conflict and fought. Student N. was also the one who directly used her helmet to hit V.
In addition, there were 3 other female students participating in the beating. Notably, the person who filmed the clip was the female class monitor of class 6/5.
After the clip was posted online, the homeroom teacher invited all students involved in the incident to school and asked them to write a report.
The homeroom teacher coordinated with school leaders to invite all parents and students involved to the school to resolve the issue.
After listening to the students' reports and watching the clips, the school pointed out the violations of the students involved. They also honestly admitted their mistakes and promised not to repeat the offense.
According to the report, all parents agreed to take V. for a general examination. All expenses will be paid by the related parents for V. V.'s parents also agreed to the above solution.
The examination results showed that V. suffered from soft tissue injuries and was prescribed medication by the doctor. For students who participated in the beating, the school will invite their parents to discuss and handle the matter according to the school's regulations.
