On November 6, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced that An Dien Secondary School had made a detailed report on the incident in which a student was beaten up in the school restroom.
According to a report from An Dien Secondary School (Long Nguyen Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), after receiving the information, on November 2, the school's board of directors contacted 7 families of the students to come to school to work, determining that the students had a conflict during physical education class, leading to a fight.
The board of directors coordinated with the families to visit and apologize to the family of student NTAN.
At 7am on November 3rd, after the students explained the incident and the cause of the fight, the families visited and apologized to the families of the beaten students, and promised to pay compensation. The parents initially did not agree, but after a discussion, they agreed and signed the minutes.
By the afternoon of November 3, NTAN's parents had examined the child and brought the results back to the school. The school received the information and notified N.'s homeroom teacher. Afterwards, they contacted other homeroom teachers and parents to visit the child and negotiate compensation, but N.'s parents asked the school to invite other parents to a third meeting. On Wednesday morning, at 7:30 a.m. on November 5, at An Dien Secondary School, the school held a parent meeting between the parties involved in the student fight.
After 4 hours of discussion, all families and the school met and agreed on the following plan: Assign a counseling team to help provide psychological counseling to students. Homeroom teachers continue to investigate students who brought cell phones to record clips, were present to watch their friends fight but did not report to the school to continue handling according to regulations. All parents of the students who participated in beating their friend compensate NTAN for medicine and travel expenses according to the agreement between the parties. The parents of the beaten student and the parents of the students who participated in beating have agreed to a satisfactory settlement with the above plan.
On the school side, the school will hold a meeting of the school's pedagogical council to learn from the incident. Organize activities for all students. Publicize the form of discipline during the flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week to deter, coordinate psychological counseling for students who violate the law, and require the deletion of all related images and clips on social networks and on personal devices. Homeroom teachers will coordinate with parents to monitor the implementation.
The principal of An Dien Secondary School affirmed that he took responsibility and, based on the provisions of Circular 19/2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training and related current regulations, applied the highest level of disciplinary action to the 6 students who violated the rules.

Afterwards, the group of students made an appointment to go to the school restroom to "settle things". Of the 6 students who participated in beating the female student in class 8A9, only 2 were from the same class, the rest were from different classes and the same grade.
