At around 3 a.m. on November 17, a local flood from the Da Lat area suddenly poured in, causing serious flooding on National Highway 20 and Hiep Thanh commune.

Many places in Hiep Thanh commune are deeply flooded.

According to the authorities, at around 6:30 a.m., a large amount of water poured in, causing flooding in Dinh An, Tan An and K'Long villages; some areas were flooded more than 1 meter deep, making it impossible for vehicles, especially cars and motorbikes, to move.

Upon receiving the news, the Commune Military Command immediately mobilized the regular militia force to coordinate with the local police force to be present at the scene.

Authorities are directing traffic and ready to assist people.

The top priority of the authorities at this time is to regulate traffic, set up barriers and guide drivers to find alternative routes, while being ready to deploy emergency response and support measures for people in the affected area.
