Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong has been appointed Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

On August 18th, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Decision of the Party Central Committee on the transfer and rotation of cadres.

Accordingly, Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, has been transferred, rotated, and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, expressed his honor and deep awareness of the responsibility of being assigned by the Central Committee to work in Quang Ninh.

The newly appointed Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee affirmed that he will work together with his colleagues in the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee to strive, set a good example in fulfilling the organization's assignments, integrate with the collective, and promote a high spirit of unity and solidarity within the collective to successfully complete the tasks.

Prior to becoming Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong held the following positions: Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly 's Committee on Culture and Education; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-France Friendship Parliamentary Group (July 2021 - August 2023); Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee under the National Assembly Standing Committee; and Deputy Director of the Institute of Legislative Research under the National Assembly Standing Committee .
