Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang's term as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs was extended.

On May 30, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed the Prime Minister's Decision on extending the term of office of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs for Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang.

According to the decision, Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang's term as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs will be extended from July 15, 2023 until he reaches retirement age as prescribed.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang

Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang was born on September 28, 1963; hometown in Bac Ninh province; professional qualification: Master of Public Administration.
Mr. Thang was assigned to assist the Minister of Home Affairs in charge of the following areas of work: Salary policy; local government; legislation; documents and archives.

He participated in the Steering Committees: Member of the Central Steering Committee on reforming salary policies, social insurance and incentives for people with meritorious services; other Steering Committees according to assigned areas of work; performed other tasks assigned by the Minister.

He is in charge of the following units: Salary Department; Local Government Department; Legal Department, State Records and Archives Department. Recently, he was assigned to be in charge of some tasks of the Civil Servants and Public Employees Department authorized by the Minister.

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang also signed a decision on Mr. Nguyen Cao Luc, Permanent Deputy Head of the Government Office, to retire from August 1.
