Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan is Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

(Dan Tri) - Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, was elected by the delegates of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On September 16, the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province, term VII, 2021-2026, held its second session to discuss and pass many important resolutions on local socio -economic development.

Regarding personnel work, the Provincial People's Council has completed procedures to dismiss the positions of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and elected Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, the People's Council delegates voted to pass a resolution to dismiss Mr. Tran Quoc Nam from the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan from the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council due to job transfer.

The meeting proceeded to vote to elect Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

As a result of the vote counting, 100% of delegates attending the meeting agreed to elect Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, 55 years old, from Khanh Hoa province, has a Bachelor of Judicial Law and a Bachelor of Party Building and State Administration.

Mr. Toan used to hold the positions of Secretary of Cam Ranh City Party Committee (old), Khanh Hoa province; Head of the Organizing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee. From 2021 to present, Mr. Toan has held the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province.

In early September, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam submitted a resignation letter for personal reasons. Before the merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces (old) into Khanh Hoa (new), Mr. Nam was the Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee.
