Mr. Nguyen Van Ut holds the position of Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee

Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province was mobilized and appointed by the Secretariat to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term. After that, he was elected by the Provincial People's Council delegates as Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province.

On the afternoon of November 18, the People's Council of Dong Nai province, term X (2021 - 2026), held its 7th session. At the session, the People's Council delegates voted to elect Mr. Nguyen Van Ut to the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam (right), member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, chaired the announcement of the Secretariat's decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Ut to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

As a result, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut was elected with 107/107 votes (100%).

Previously, on the same afternoon, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, born in 1969, hometown Binh Hoa Nam commune, Duc Hue district, Long An province (now Duc Hue commune, Tay Ninh province). Master's degree in economics.

He was appointed by the Prime Minister as Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee from July 1, 2025 (after merging Tay Ninh with Long An).

Before becoming Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut held the positions of Vice Chairman and Chairman of Duc Hoa District People's Committee (Long An).

Since 2015, he has been Secretary of Duc Hoa District Party Committee. In June 2019, he was appointed Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee.

In October 2019, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut was a member of the Standing Committee of Long An Provincial Party Committee, elected Deputy Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee, term XI (term 2020 - 2025).

In November 2020, Long An Provincial People's Council delegates elected Mr. Nguyen Van Ut to hold the position of Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

At the above meeting, the delegates of Dong Nai Provincial People's Council carried out the procedure to dismiss Mr. Vo Tan Duc from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, then voted to elect Mr. Nguyen Van Ut to the position of Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.
