Mr. Tran Duy Dong was appointed Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee.

On the morning of July 31, Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Council held the 17th session to review and decide on personnel work under its authority.

At the meeting, the provincial People's Council delegates voted by secret ballot to elect Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with 100% of the votes in favor.

Previously, on July 22, the Secretariat decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, to join the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Mr. Tran Duy Dong (45 years old), from Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province. He worked for many years at the Ministry of Planning and Investment . In 2020, Mr. Tran Duy Dong held the position of Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.
