- Industrial development is the core growth driver of the province in nearly 30 years of re-establishment in particular and the period of integration and development of the country in general. In the early stages, Binh Duong implemented "red carpet" policies to invite investors and businesses to build factories and expand production with abundant labor resources. The selection and screening of fields and industries are relatively open to attract investors, FDI enterprises as well as domestic enterprises to the province.

- What is the reason for Binh Duong province to convince LEGO Group to invest in the factory? What is the significance of the LEGO factory in Binh Duong to realizing the province's policy on green growth and sustainable development, sir?

- With over 30 years of experience in industrial development, in terms of industrial infrastructure, Binh Duong has pioneering enterprises such as Becamex IDC, VSIP... These brands have contributed to making the province become "big names" in infrastructure development, industrial development of the Southeast region in particular and the whole country in general. In the current period, Binh Duong is building and developing 3rd generation industrial parks, which are "green industrial parks", gradually perfecting green standards, serving green production that can meet the requirements of businesses, investors...

The LEGO Group's investment in VSIP 3 Industrial Park is also the group's first project to be developed in a green, sustainable and environmentally friendly direction, carbon neutral; contributing to Vietnam's commitment to achieving the "Net Zero" goal by 2050. The factory is installed with more than 12,400 rooftop solar panels with a capacity of 7.34 MWp, estimated to produce enough electricity to supply about 1,270 households each year. The project is interested in clean energy, renewable energy will participate in the production process to create "green products" for users. The LEGO factory also applies environmentally friendly packaging measures, LEGO also aims to not create landfill waste in line with the trend of "green production" and sustainable development of the world . More valuable when coming to Binh Duong, LEGO Group also called on factories moving to Vietnam not to put profit above environmental protection.

- Currently, in order to continue attracting investment, in parallel with strengthening administrative procedure reform and transparency to create favorable conditions to attract businesses interested in green production, Binh Duong is currently planning to move industrial parks from the South to the North of the province. Believing that new generation industrial parks are increasingly perfected to attract green projects, serve green production, and create environmentally friendly "green products". Along with that, Binh Duong province also invites investment in high-tech, low-energy, and labor-intensive sectors. The province will establish a concentrated technology park of 220 hectares, where a system of modern science and technology industrial parks and information technology parks will be developed. Promote the application of science and technology to highly specialized production activities in other industrial parks as well as in the entire production area of ​​the region...

LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam Factory is considered by LEGO Group to be the fastest progressing project among the group's factories of the same area. The project has a land use area of ​​up to 44.79 hectares with an investment of up to 1.3 billion USD, including 5 office buildings, an energy center, a plastic injection and packaging area, an automated warehouse and other works with a total area of ​​150,000 ^m2 .
