Pickup truck burned to frame on Phan Thiet – Dau Giay highway

At around 12 noon on April 3, a car traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway suddenly caught fire at km33 (through Tan Phuc commune, Ham Tan district, Binh Thuan province).

The fire engulfed the car.

At the scene, the burnt car was lying on the emergency lane on the Dong Nai - Phan Thiet road. Due to strong winds, the fire quickly engulfed the entire car. In just a moment, the car was completely burned, leaving only the frame.

The fire affected many other vehicles, especially those carrying flammable substances (tankers). Drivers of other vehicles were forced to drive into the lane close to the median strip to avoid being blown by strong winds and the fire spreading.
Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6, Department 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and place warning signs, at the same time guide and regulate traffic, avoid congestion, as well as fire spread.
