Petrolimex Aviation refuels Sun PhuQuoc Airways' first commercial flight

On the morning of November 1, 2025, Petrolimex Aviation Fuel Joint Stock Company (Petrolimex Aviation/PA) was proud to be trusted by Sun PhuQuoc Airways to be the unit to carry out fueling for the airline's first commercial flights at Phu Quoc International Airport - a place identified by Sun PhuQuoc Airways as the main transit center (Hub), connecting the Pearl Island with major cities in the country and expanding to international routes in the future.

Petrolimex Aviation welcomes the first flight of Sun PhuQuoc Airways and the first refueling trip at Phu Quoc International Airport

This event marks an important milestone in the launch journey of Sun PhuQuoc Airways, invested by Sun Group Corporation. With the orientation of combining air transport and tourism services, the airline has officially operated three domestic routes: Hanoi - Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc and Da Nang - Phu Quoc, starting from November 1, 2025.

The first flight number 9G1203 departed at 7:15 a.m. from Noi Bai Airport, carrying 220 passengers to Phu Quoc Island by Airbus A321. The next two flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang also took off during the day, in which the Noi Bai - Phu Quoc route was organized as a special welcome flight on the occasion of the opening.

Petrolimex Aviation has made comprehensive preparations in terms of human resources, vehicles, equipment and strictly complied with regulations and safety standards to ensure that fueling operations are carried out safely, accurately and professionally.
