Petrolimex Saigon celebrates 50th anniversary and receives First Class Labor Medal

On September 17, Petrolimex Saigon Company Limited celebrated its 50th anniversary and received the First Class Labor Medal awarded by the President.

At the ceremony, Petrolimex Saigon said that in its 50-year journey, the enterprise has always performed well and contributed to ensuring national energy security, absolutely safe production and business activities, and achieved many important achievements.

Of which, Petrolimex Saigon has contributed thousands of billions of VND to the budget each year; Nha Be General Warehouse achieved a record import and export output of 6.4 million m³/ton in 2024, affirming its position as the largest modern petroleum warehouse in the country.

Petrolimex Saigon's retail system is also constantly expanding, occupying a large market share in Ho Chi Minh City, pioneering in providing clean energy such as E10 biofuel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Petrolimex Saigon said it has been undergoing a comprehensive digital transformation, bringing friendly services and experiences to customers. Workers' lives are always taken care of, income and welfare regimes are increasingly improved.

In particular, the company always fulfills its social responsibilities with many meaningful activities.

With such great contributions, the company has been honored to receive many Independence Medals, Labor Medals, Military Exploit Medals and other noble titles from the Party and State.

At the 50th anniversary celebration, Petrolimex Saigon was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal awarded by the President .

Mr. Vo Van Tan - Chairman of Petrolimex Saigon - said that in the future, Petrolimex Saigon is determined to maintain its leading role as the Vietnam National Petroleum Group, committed to pioneering digital transformation, providing green - clean - sustainable energy sources.

Petrolimex Saigon also received the Third Class Labor Medal for Nha Be Petroleum Depot (a member unit of Petrolimex Saigon); Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor ; Traditional Flag of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

On an individual basis, Mr. Vo Van Tan - Chairman of Petrolimex Saigon - received the Third Class Labor Medal; a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for Mr. Bui Cong Minh - Director of Nha Be Petroleum Depot; a certificate of merit from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Director of Petrolimex Saigon.
