Resident Evil 4 expansion coming next week

According to Gaming Bolt , the excellent Resident Evil 4 remake is expected to receive a ton of new content in the coming weeks and months. Not only is there a PlayStation VR2-exclusive VR mode slated for release later this year, the game will receive a free update for Mercenaries mode and the Separate Ways expansion in a week.

Resident Evil 4 Remake's Separate Ways DLC Is Coming Next Week

Along with the announcement of the game's DLC, the PlayStation Blog post also revealed new details that Capcom will bring in the upcoming update. Accordingly, Separate Ways will focus on the character Ada Wong and tell her story, thereby providing a new perspective on the events in Resident Evil 4 .

Along with the main character Ada, the new DLC will also add a number of important characters including her teammate Luis Serra, as well as the series' long-standing villain Albert Wesker.

Meanwhile, in terms of gameplay, in addition to returning to the basic game's available mechanics like parrying knives and weapons, there will also be special ways to equip Ada with a new gun, capable of reaching specific locations and taking down enemies at long range.

The Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways expansion will retail for $9.99 when it launches on September 21 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
