After the emotional opening night on June 2, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023 continues with a light competition between the Canadian and French fireworks teams on the evening of June 10.
The two fireworks teams of Canada and France are coming to DIFF for the first time, but with the theme "Love without borders", these two "newbies" promise to take people and tourists through many emotions with eye-catching fireworks displays.
On June 8, Thanh Nien reporters observed at the fireworks "battlefield" of the two teams Canada - France at the Han River port (on Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City), the competing teams were still rushing to install fireworks to best prepare for the competition night.

The Arteventia team (France) is busy "racing" against time to complete preparations for the upcoming competition night.
At the fireworks "battlefield" area at Song Han port (Bach Dang street, Hai Chau district), the cannon barrels have been installed in the correct position. Technicians check the wires and connect them to the control system.
Mr. Alain Bouthillier, captain of the Canadian fireworks team, said that this is the first time the Hands Fireworks team (Canada) has participated in the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival. Therefore, the "maple leaf country" team will bring a performance called "Aurora", with beautiful light streaks in the sky of Da Nang.
In particular, the Canadian team will use 14 pieces of music in their performance, bringing visitors into a unique musical atmosphere.
"In the fireworks display, we will show you a lot of effects to explain the music and dances in Canada through the colors of the fireworks," revealed Mr. Alain Bouthillier.

Team Arteventia (France) is coming to DIFF for the first time, but this is a team that has won many major awards at fireworks competitions in the United States, Poland (2019), Belgium (2022). Coming to DIFF 2023, the French team will bring the theme "Colors of Hope", to remind us that resilience is the only hope to discover all the beauty of life.
Mr. Edouard Gregoire, captain of the French team, shared that when coming to DIFF this time, the French fireworks team will bring very impressive performances.
"First of all, our choice of music, with a moderate volume and accessible to all ages. In addition, we also want to emphasize human understanding, about communication with nature. That is also our theme - The Color of Hope", said Mr. Edouard Gregoire.
With a high-tech system and modern stage design, DIFF 2023 once again affirms that Da Nang deserves the title of "Asia's Leading Festival and Event Destination".
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2023 with the theme "World without distance" takes place from June 2 to July 8 at the fireworks stage on the Han River, with 5 competition nights and the participation of 8 fireworks teams, including 7 international teams: England, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Finland and the Vietnamese representative team (Da Nang team).
