Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Industry and Trade Newspaper, informed about the contest.
The contest aims to spread the message of economic development associated with environmental protection, contributing to the effective implementation of the National Strategy on Green Growth and the commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Industry and Trade Newspaper, affirmed that the press media is a powerful channel for transmitting ideas, a bridge connecting policy - business - people. This contest continues to arouse the sense of responsibility and creativity of journalists, collaborators, and experts, to join hands for a sustainable and environmentally friendly industry and trade sector.
Accordingly, the participating works focus on reflecting: The implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection in the industry and trade sector; typical models, enterprises and units applying clean technology, saving energy, reducing emissions; analyzing challenges and solutions in pollution treatment, controlling waste sources, developing circular economy; introducing green initiatives, technologies, energy conversion in the fields of the sector; propagating changes in awareness, sustainable consumption behavior, combating plastic waste, using resources effectively; reflecting on difficulties and shortcomings, thereby proposing appropriate policy solutions.
Contestants are professional and non-professional journalists, collaborators, media officers, experts, and media workers inside and outside the industry and trade sector.
Each individual or group of authors (maximum 5 people) can submit multiple works according to genres: News, reflection articles, reports, interviews, comments, monographs, discussions, journalistic notes...
The work has been published in print and electronic newspapers from October 1, 2023 to July 30, 2025. The deadline for receiving works is from the launch date to August 15, 2025.
Regarding the award structure, there is 01 Special Prize worth 15,000,000 VND; 2 A Prizes, each worth 10,000,000 VND; 3 B Prizes, each worth 8,000,000 VND; 5 C Prizes, each worth 5,000,000 VND; 8 Encouragement Prizes, each worth 3,000,000 VND/prize; 2 Special Prizes, each worth 10,000,000 VND/prize.
